My background is in film/video/o=interactive performance as experiential collective memory. I am also a publisher of experimental fiction, poetry and artist monographs. I sometimes think that Zizek's more contemporary pieces tend towards a negative burlesque of Lacanian theory. Is it possible to engage in a praxis of actualized practice? Perhaps this is not possible within the hegemony of academia?
