A native to the golden state, I now live and work in New York to facilitate the exhibition and creation of dance film from the perspective of a dance artist. I work for Dance Films Association as Communications Associate where an average day includes managing our digital world, organizing real time programming, and producing the annual Dance on Camera Festival. Technology falls into the framework of media, and I see it's application in the the fusion of dance and camera movement. I'm also a freelance dancer performing currently in "Then She Fell," 2012 New York Times Critic's Pick. I also champion for dance by serving on the Dance/NYC Junior Committee and presented at the 2012 Dance USA Conference in San Francisco on developing a blueprint for implementing similar peer-governed committees. I came to New York by way of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she received a BFA in Dance and a double major in Religious Studies and graduated with the J.S. Seidman Award.
